I have been lucky to have had many midwifery experiences in my career ranging from a; remote midwife in an aboriginal community in WA, caring for women with high risk pregnancies in a tertiary hospital, mentoring the next generation of midwives, supporting young women to become mothers, I have been and am a home birth midwife and one of the lucky few first eligible private practicing midwives in Australia. I have also recently become a mother myself to a beautiful little girl who brings a smile to my face every day.
Being a midwife is a large part of who I am, midwifery is my lifelong passion and makes me a better person each day walking beside women and their families. I love building trusting, nurturing, respectful, safe, informative and caring relationships with the women and the families I care for.
I love spending time with my husband, my wonderful family and friends. These people light up my life. I love to sing, eat amazing food, travel and read a good book.
