  • Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery, La Trobe University 2015
  • Graduate Certificate in Midwifery (Prescribing & Diagnostics), Griffith University 2019

For a number of years I worked in a large metropolitan hospital, which has given me the experience of working with both high and low risk pregnancies, labour and providing postnatal care. My favourite experiences in midwifery have been providing support to family and friends and being able to witness their full journey from pregnancy to growing their own families. I've seen first hand the benefits that one-to-one midwifery brings to the whole family and this is what has drawn me to working in a 'continuity' model of care

Midwifery Interests

I believe in the benefits of continuity-of-care and believe wholeheartedly in making this model of care available to more families in Australia. I’m really passionate about educating women in their pregnancies and truly believe that knowledge is power. I love being able to develop relationships with women and their families; I think this is the best part of being a midwife! I strive to build relationships that foster a safe environment for women to feel strong, empowered, educated and ready to welcome their new addition into their lives.

Other Interests

My favourite thing to do when I’m not working is spending time with my family and friends, or being by the beach reading a book. I also love cooking, so I take great pride in spending an entire day in the kitchen creating something delicious to share with my nearest and dearest.
