Bachelor of Midwifery - The University of Queensland, 2019
Throughout my time as a midwifery student I was fortunate enough to complete placements in both the public and private spheres of maternity care. I had the absolute pleasure of completing a placement with My Midwives in Toowoomba where I was able to witness firsthand the benefit that continuity of care is to women, their families, and the midwives.
I am very passionate about promoting midwifery led continuity of care as the most sustainable form of maternity care there is (across the board!), which is why I couldn't be happier to now be working with My Midwives. I am particularly interested in providing woman centred care to women and their families, women need to be empowered with all of the information so that they may make an informed choice that best suits them and their needs.
When I have spare time I love to spend it curled up with a good book and a cup of tea. My ideal weekend is filled with time spent with my friends and family, checking out new cafes, going for a walk, and hitting up the farmers market. I absolutely love to travel every chance I get and have a long list of places I'm hoping to end up someday.
