Whilst undertaking my midwifery degree I completed the majority of my clinical training with My Midwives under the guidance of inspiring and passionate midwives, something I am eternally grateful for. I am blessed to now be working in this continuity of maternity care model with the same inspiring and passionate midwives.

Midwifery Interests

My belief is that every woman has access to the model of maternity care they desire; a model underpinned by evidence based practice and recognition that birth is a normal life event. I strongly believe that maternity care is all encompassing; developing a trusting relationship with not only the woman but her partner and family is paramount.

As a midwife I see the importance of supportive postpartum care, something which as a society I believe we have devalued. This is where my passion lies, holding space for women and their families during their time of transition to parenthood.

Other Interests

When not working I enjoy reading, gardening and visiting the beach but my greatest joy is spending time with my husband and 3 not-so-little sons.
