  • Bachelor of Midwifery 2019 – Australian Catholic University
  • Prescribing for Midwives 2022 – Griffith University (Currently undertaking)

I was fortunate enough to undertake my three years of student midwifery practice at RBWH in Brisbane where I was able to experience and witness all models of midwifery care which gave me an incredible insight into what options I had available to me for my future career as a midwife. Once I graduated in 2019, I took a leap of courage and moved from Brisbane to outback Australia where I worked as a registered midwife at Mount Isa Hospital. I believe the vast experiences I learnt there will serve me greatly as I embark on a new journey with the My Midwives team in Toowoomba.

Midwifery Interests

I am deeply passionate about all aspects of midwifery care and am constantly finding myself in absolute awe of the power and strength that women behold and watching it unfold during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period is something I’ll never tire of. As a midwife, it is important to me for every woman to feel informed and supported in her choices and come out of this transformative journey feeling empowered and connected to her inner self, both as a woman and a mother, and to her baby, her family, and her community.

Other Interests

Outside of being a midwife, I enjoy staying active and keeping fit whether it be a social evening walk with friends or doing kickboxing / Muay Thai. I love buying indoor plants and have developed a slight obsession for slowly watching new leaves grow and anxiously trying to keep them alive. I have a soft spot for adopting rescues and I am one of 5 sisters, so quiet time to myself is a must, however, family time is extremely important to me, and I am so grateful for having a loving and supportive family to share life with.
