Midwifery Interests

The journey of pregnancy, birth and early parenting has always captivated me. I have worked in a variety of settings including public and private hospitals, remote areas (Outback and far north Queensland, SA Riverland, rural relieving in Victoria) and have been in private practice since 2002. My philosophy is that all women should be able to access care with a known midwife, regardless of where they choose to birth, and regardless of whether they have a low or high-risk pregnancy.

Other Interests

As a mother to 2 children and 2 step-children, life is never dull. I am an outdoors person, my other passions, sailing and cycling. I am an assistant sailing instructor and chaired a committee dedicated to getting more women into positions of leadership in sailing, on and off the water. I am currently on two committees - the Victorian International Cadet Class of Australia and Secretary for the International Cadet Class of Australia.
