Maternal & Child Health Nurse

Andrea Quanchi started her nursing training at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne in 1979 before becoming a midwife and later, a maternal & child health nurse. She offers a wealth of experience in development, feeding, settling and sleeping for babies and older children. She believes that mothers and fathers should be nurtured with practical skills for parenting and that continuity of care expands beyond the pregnancy and birth, through to when your baby is school age.

MCHN appointments $100 at the clinic, $150 per hour for home visits. There is no Medicare rebates after your baby is 6 weeks of age.
