Experience
I am grateful for my extensive career in healthcare as a nurse and a midwife. Working since 2017 as a registered midwife in Australia has provided me with opportunities to learn and grow, supporting women, families, and communities throughout their pregnancy journey. Thankfully my education and experience led me toward working in midwifery continuity of care models.
Midwifery Interest
Supporting women, families, and communities draws out my passion for midwifery; passion for informed, woman centred care and the lifelong reflection and learning needed to take on this responsibility. Continuity of care midwifery allows time to build a partnership. It is an honour to “be with” women along this journey and witness them doing incredible things.
Personal Interest
I love Australia’s Red Centre. Mparntwe and the surrounding country are special places that keeps calling me back to learn more. I love the trees and the vivid colours; skies so blue, midnight with the Milky Way, white on my hands from the Ghost Gum, rust red sand and mountains, pink and grey of Galahs, that crimson tail of a Black Cockatoo, mustard ochre, and of course the greens of spinifex and darting flocks of those iridescent green birds. So much to explore and learn.
