Experience
I’m originally from Western Australia, where I grew up and completed my midwifery training. Since qualifying, I’ve been fortunate to live and work in a variety of regional and rural settings across Western Australia, as well as in New Zealand, and now Queensland. These experiences have given me the privilege of caring for women and families from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, often in settings that demand adaptability, independence, and strong relationship-building. Along the way, I’ve learned that no matter where you are, the one thing that seems universal is that babies never seem to follow a schedule!
Midwifery Interest
I am passionate about supporting women to make informed decisions about their care and feel empowered throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. I have a particular interest in First Nations health and culturally safe practice, recognising the importance of respect, connection, and understanding in providing meaningful care. Holistic, woman-centred approaches that support both emotional and physical wellbeing are central to my practice, and I am committed to fostering trust, continuity, and genuine partnership with the families I care for.
Personal Interest
Outside of midwifery, I enjoy slowing down with a good book, getting outdoors for lots of hikes, and spending time with my family and friends who keep me grounded. I also have a particular fondness for sourdough making, which has resulted in both a well-loved starter and way too much sourdough bread. I love a trip to the beach to help me recharge and bring a balanced energy to my work.
